All fishing tackle, bait and life vests are provided on fishing charters. You will be responsible for fishing licenses and proper tags in possession at all times while fishing.  You are responsible for any lunch, snacks, or beverages that you may require.

Anyone under the age of 16 who is a non-resident is not required to purchase a fishing license, and can take a daily limit of fish, but must be accompanied by an adult over 21 who has in possession a valid non-resident fishing license. Anyone fishing for King Salmon on the Kenai River is required to have a King Salmon stamp in possession while fishing.

Six hour / 1/2 day Kenai King charters are standard, but full day Kenai River King charters are available at $90 extra per person per day. Any other substitutions, additions or extractions from your package will constitute a change in price.

  • Any rental vehicles, airfare, ground transportation, proper fishing licenses, meals, groceries, gifts, extra fishing equipment, extra clothing, fish processing, freezing, storage, shipping boxes, and freight costs for shipping fish home are NOT included in any above priced packages. We will assist anyone with the best-known services providers in the area to take care of the extra items that you would require. We endeavor to supply you with a list of all extras you may run into along with their approximate costs.
  • Any customized package will be given full priority and priced after careful checking with available service providers. Price quotes are only good for 15 days from first date of contact. Prices are subject to change at any time due to fuel, insurance, and labor cost increases.
  • All charters will take place unless due to weather, safety of clients, equipment breakdown or other acts of God take priority over the day.

·        Normal rainy or cold weather is not a usual reason to cancel. A credit or refund applies only when the charter operator cancels the trip for any of the above reasons. No refunds or credits are given for a no show or sickness on the quests part. Early cancellations and refunds are subject to each different service provider’s policy. It is normal for no refunds to be given within 90 days of arrival unless the vacancies can be filled and then only a 75% portion is refundable. Anyone canceling due to death, accident or prolonged illness will be given a full credit towards a future trip.

  • The cancellation policy of Kenai Alaska Fish On is as follows:  Any trip that has received payment for services we render will be subject to a 25% penalty for trips 180 days or more from arrival date. A 50% penalty will be assessed for trips from 90-179 days of arrival. A 75 % penalty for trips within 45-89 days. No refunds are available within 45 days of arrival. We reserve the right to cancel trips with no refunds for parties who have made deposits and become severely delinquent in making assigned payments. We will give a 30-day written notice of any delinquent trips.

  • Kenai Alaska Fish On is not responsible for accident, death, loss of personal property, injury or any other Act of God that takes place while our quests are in Alaska.

  • The Kenai River is located 150 miles south of Anchorage at Soldotna, Alaska. Deep Creek / Cook Inlet halibut charters are located 38 miles South of Soldotna.. The driving trip is a beautiful scenic drive, and well worth the time spent. Weather permitting you can expect great views of the Chugach Mountains, Portage Glacier, Kenai Mountains, Cooper Landing, Kenai Lake, Sterling and on to Soldotna where our accommodations are located. The trip is a photographers dream come true. The roads are good and it will take 3 to 4 hours depending on how many stops you make.  If you elect to fly to Kenai there are flights every hour from Anchorage International Airport. The flight will take 20 minutes and we are 9 miles from the airport. There are car rental agencies at both airports.

Your choice of activities is a command for us to take action and serve you.

A 25% deposit is required to reserve your vacation package.   Upon receipt of your deposit your personalized trip itinerary and confirmation notice will be forwarded within 7 to 10 days.  As 50% security deposits are required by most of our service providers an additional 25% deposit is due 30 days after confirmation notice has been sent. Final payment is due no later than 30 days of your arrival date. Payments of the final 50% balance could be made in installments if arranged.  Credit cards are welcome but will be charged a 3% sur charge. Local sales tax are not included in above prices.

Within 30 days of arrival or upon request, we will provide a list of items to bring and enclose a detail of normal temperatures, weather conditions, details of each activity you choose and what to expect.

Our personal integrity is a primary factor in the success of our business. Our honesty with guests and complete pricing on selected activities will have no hidden costs.

We continually add new providers as we prove them and rely on our guest comments about the performance of any service provider that doesn’t meet our special guest requirements.  We hope you understand fishing success depends on the strength and timing of the Salmon runs that can vary in numbers of fish entering the river each day, weather and water conditions that day. Gratuities are an important source of yearly income for most guides, so it keeps them working as hard as possible to ensure you the best possible success.

We invite you now to select your most desired activities and forward that list to us for confirmation. We would be most happy to answer questions you might have and make suggestions and recommendations.
